November 2011

November has proved to be the Company’s busiest so far this year. A £300,000 project for BES at Astra Zeneca Macclesfield started with a 30 week programme. Refurbishment of an office block, valued at £170,000 for United Utilities also started on site at the water treatment works in Oldham.

The month also saw major external works completion at the ongoing  prestigious farmhouse redesign, whilst phase 2 cleanroom works for main contractor BES came to the end of its seven month programme. The Heinz project at Leamington Spa was completed bang on programme to the delight of the project team.

September 2011

Building Projects have been chosen by Environmental Engineering to carry out works at the Heinz frozen food factory in Leamington Spa. The works consists of strict health & safety planning, structural demolition, roofing and cladding, fire protection, joinery and decoration. with a challenging 8 week programme. The  £270,000 project will run until the end of October

 

April 2011

Building Projects are delighted to announce the start of a major new residential project. The work involves the renovation of a substantial stone built farmhouse and adjacent barn to form a 6 bedroom residence deep in the Derbyshire countryside. The project which is valued at c£1m is programmed to run for the next 12 months.

March 2011

March has seen several of our clients planning for the warmer weather. We are currently working with both Bredbury Hall Country Club and Thermatic Ltd to design and install  efficient  air conditioning systems in time for the summer months.

January 2011

The new year has seen the company focus on the major first floor extension and refurbishment works for Blythe House Hospice. It is essential for the client that this project is finished within the fiscal year. Director Adam Bell said “ It has not been the best of months for removing the roof and building a first floor extension. However all the tradesmen on site have worked hard as a team under very difficult conditions and done a tremendous job. We have not lost a single hour with the weather, works are ahead of schedule and I am confident we shall not over-run”
